The types of research undertaken at Monash Health ranges from quality improvement activities conducted by clinical and non-clinical staff, undergraduate and post-graduate clinical research through, all the way to early phase drug and device studies.

Clinical trials are a major component of Monash Health’s research profile and present an opportunity for consumers to access the latest technology, advancements and access to increased resources in terms of monitoring, follow up and positive lifestyle interventions. This is facilitated through the state of the art Monash Health Clinical Trials Centre, which opened in December 2015.
